Memory boxes
Hand-painted boxes are made by birth and adoptive families, and adoptees. The memory boxes are then donated to local hospitals and given to women who have just placed their child for adoption. These boxes remind women that they are not alone and that they are respected. The boxes contain information on the grief process for birth parents and how to access our services. Literature, poetry, a journal, and some self-care items are also included. This box was designed as a safe place for cherished items of remembrance of their birth child. Donations help support this endeavor.
